How Do We Use Your Information?
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide our Services: We use information provided by clients and prospective clients to communicate with you, understand your business needs, onboard clients, perform bookkeeping and tax Services, and fulfill our contractual obligations.
- To communicate with you: Responding to inquiries, answering questions, providing requested information, coordinating workflow via Client Hub, and communicating about your account.

- Transactional and operational text messages: If you are a client, or a prospective client who has contacted us or requested information (for example, through our Get Started page or a scheduling tool), we may send non-marketing text messages related to your inquiry, appointment, or account such as responses to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, intake and document requests, and account or billing updates as necessary to respond to you or administer our business relationship with you.

03
Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the law applicable to you, we may process personal information based on performance of a contract, user consent, legitimate business interests, legal obligations, and protection of rights and safety. Where applicable law requires consent, we will obtain consent before processing information for the purposes requiring consent. For marketing text messages specifically, we obtain your affirmative, separate opt-in (typically through an unchecked checkbox) before enrolling you in that program.
04
When and With Whom Do We Share Personal Information?
We may disclose personal information to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate our business, provide our Services, communicate with us, or comply with legal obligations. These third parties may include website hosting, marketing, email, SMS, scheduling, CRM, workflow (Client Hub), accounting, tax, electronic signature, and cloud storage providers, alongside professional advisors and vetted U.S. or international subcontractors.
We may also disclose information as part of a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar transaction.
05
Client Confidentiality
We understand that bookkeeping and tax Services require clients to provide confidential business and financial information. We treat client information as confidential and use it as reasonably necessary to provide the Services. Client data is accessed on a least-privilege basis, transmitted and stored through encrypted systems, and managed according to our strict internal security procedures.
06
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, tracking tags, and analytics technologies on our website for functionality, security, preferences, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functionality. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional choices or controls for cookies and targeted advertising.
07
Text Messages and SMS Communications
This section describes our SMS practices in accordance with A2P 10DLC and CTIA guidelines. It should be read together with the SMS Terms in our Terms & Conditions.
Program/Company Name: CBA Bookkeeping LLC dba Account Mobility.
If you provide your mobile phone number, we may use it to send:
- Transactional/operational messages — such as appointment reminders, responses to your inquiries, document requests, billing updates, and other service-related communications tied to your relationship with us as a client or prospective client; and
- Marketing/promotional messages — such as promotional offers, educational content, and announcements about our Services but only if you have separately and affirmatively opted in to marketing text messages (typically via an unchecked checkbox at the point your number is collected).
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the type of messages you have opted into and your engagement with us; marketing message frequency is typically 2 to 6 messages per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Consent Not Required for Purchase
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing our Services, and you may decline SMS marketing opt-in while still becoming or remaining a client.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon doing so, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further marketing messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You may also contact us using the information below to request removal from marketing text communications. Opting out of marketing text messages does not necessarily stop transactional/operational messages related to Services you have requested or an existing business relationship.
Help
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at chris@accountmobility.com or 802-321-5747.
Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or rent SMS opt-in information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
08
How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We retain personal information and client financial records for as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, tax, accounting, professional compliance, and legal requirements (typically maintaining client files for seven (7) years following the termination of services).
09
How Do We Protect Your Information?
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction, including restricted access controls and encrypted storage systems. However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically is completely secure, and while we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a material security incident affecting client data, we will provide notice as required by applicable law and, where applicable, our contractual obligations.
10
Information About Children
Our website and Services are intended for business owners, professionals, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly direct our marketing or Services toward children.
11
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or opt out of targeted advertising and marketing communications, including withdrawing SMS marketing consent at any time.
12
How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights
To request access, correction, deletion, opt-out of targeted advertising, or take other action concerning your personal information, contact us via email at chris@accountmobility.com or phone at 802-321-5747. Please provide enough information for us to reasonably identify you and understand your request. Depending on the nature of the request and applicable law, we may need to verify your identity before completing the request. We will process valid privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf, subject to our ability to verify the agent's authority to act on your behalf as required by applicable law.
13
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Certain U.S. states have enacted comprehensive privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) that provide residents with additional rights. Whether a particular law applies to Account Mobility depends on factors such as the law's scope, thresholds, exemptions, and the nature and volume of information processed. We do not believe our current data processing activities meet the applicable thresholds under most state privacy laws; however, we extend the rights described in this section as a matter of practice. Where a state privacy law applies, we provide the required disclosures and consumer rights regarding data access, correction, deletion, portability, and targeted advertising or sale opt-outs, and limits on the use of sensitive personal information where applicable. Account Mobility does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact information above, or, where our use of advertising cookies or pixels is considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or "sale" under applicable law, opt out using a Global Privacy Control signal as described below.
14
Global Privacy Control and Do-Not-Track Signals
Some browsers and devices provide a "Do Not Track" feature that sends a signal indicating that a user does not want to be tracked. Because there is not a universally accepted technical standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, our website may not respond to such signals unless required by applicable law.
Where required by applicable state law, we honor the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and targeted advertising, for the browser or device sending the signal. If we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as an opt-out request for that browser to the extent required by applicable law. Because a GPC signal is tied to a specific browser and device, you may need to enable it separately on each browser or device you use.
15
Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website or communications may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.
16
Business Transfers
If Account Mobility is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred in accordance with applicable confidentiality obligations.
17
International Data Processing
Because Account Mobility may use employees, contractors, subprocessors, and technology providers located outside your state or country, personal information may be accessed, processed, or stored outside the state or country in which you reside. Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps concerning international transfers and data protection.
18
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, technological, or legal changes by posting the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to understand our current privacy practices.
